About the North Andover Thrift Shop

Since 1955

The North Andover Thrift Shop is a 100% volunteer run, non-profit organization selling clothing, accessories, and household items donated by our community.  Net proceeds support worthy causes in the Merrimack Valley of Massachusetts. Scholarships, food pantries, shelters… we have done it all over the years. We have been in continuous operation since 1955!   As we like to say "We were doing thrift before it was hip!"


Once based in the historic Scholfield Mill in downtown North Andover, Massachusetts, loss of our historic building and economic factors led us to pivot to an online operation, but all items are available for local pickup! 

Our Selection

Our eBay shop is stocked with a wide variety of women's and men's clothing and accessories, jewelry, and small household items and collectibles.  


We carefully curate our selection to ensure that every item is in good condition and ready for a new home.

Our Pricing

All items are donated to our shop, so we price reasonably!   Because 100% of our net proceeds go to charity, eBay offers us significantly reduced fees that allow us to be competitive in our pricing.  We want to move our inventory to earn funds that can do good in our local community.

We love our donors!  You make it possible for us to continue our long-standing mission of recycling and repurposing while earning funds for charitable causes in the Merrimack Valley.    We gratefully accept bagged donations of gently used (or new!) women's and men's clothing, accessories, jewelry and select household items and collectibles.  Bagged items can be dropped at our drop box located at  North Parish 190 Academy Road, North Andover on the Great Pond Road side of the building.  The donation box is behind the railing by the side door.  Please do not inquire within the North Parish church. They have generously provided space for the box, but are not affiliated with the Shop.  Please email us with questions at nathriftshoponline1955@gmail.com

We do not have a retail shop.  We are located online at eBay and also have hold occasional  local events in the North Andover Massachusetts area.  Shop us on eBay by clicking the Shop Now button at the top of the page or just click here. 

We gladly accept bagged donations of gently used (or new!) women's, men's and children's  clothing, accessories, jewelry and small, select (think shippable) household items and collectibles.  Bagged items can be dropped at our drop box located at  North Parish at 190 Academy Road, on the Great Pond Road side of the building under the awning at the side door.  See the map on our brochure below. The box is behind the railing.  If you have fragile items unsuitable for the drop box, we can make special arrangements for drop off or pick up.  Reach out via email to the address above.   We want to make it easy for you to donate!

Yes! Please, no underwear, socks or pajamas unless new!  We take shoes, but only in new or near-new condition. Please NO used kitchen items such as pots, pans, etc, and no large electronics or appliances. If you are unsure, please reach out to us via email at nathriftshoponline1955@gmail.com

Yes! If you live in the North Andover area and want to pick up an item from eBay,  select "Local Pickup" as your shipping option.  We will contact you to arrange pickup. It's easy!
